Terms of Service
Last updated August 30, 2026
Symptoms is a free tool for keeping your own record of how you feel. Using it means agreeing to these terms.
Not medical advice
Symptoms is a personal log, not a diagnostic or medical device. Nothing it shows you, including trends, summaries or trace lines, is medical advice. Always talk to a qualified clinician about symptoms, medications or treatment decisions.
Your data is your responsibility
As explained in the Privacy Policy, everything you log stays in your browser and nowhere else. Clearing your browser data, switching devices or losing access to this browser will lose your history unless you have exported a backup. Keeping backups is on you.
Using the app
You can use Symptoms for your own personal record-keeping, free of charge. Don't use it to try to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without authorization, or interfere with other people's use of it.
No warranty
Symptoms is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. It may have bugs, may change, and availability isn't guaranteed. It's a small, independently run tool, not a service backed by an uptime commitment.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the creator of Symptoms isn't liable for any loss, including lost data or any health-related outcome, arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page will change with it. Continuing to use Symptoms after an update means you accept the new terms.
